Discover Alaska Adventure, your partner for exploring Alaska by camper

A local rental company specialized in Anchorage

Alaska Adventure is a family-owned business based in Anchorage, founded in 2009, offering rental vehicles suitable for discovering Alaska. Their fleet includes Jeep Wranglers equipped with pop-top roof tents, SUVs with hard-shell rooftop tents, as well as converted vans and trucks, all provided with the necessary camping gear. This offer is ideal for exploring the vast wilderness of Alaska, including the Kenai Peninsula and the areas around Fairbanks and Seward. The agency operates from May to September, the optimal period to enjoy the landscapes and local activities, such as halibut fishing in Homer or glacier cruises in Columbia Glacier in Valdez.

Vehicles designed for adventure in the great outdoors

The Jeep Wranglers with URSA Minor rooftop tents provide comfortable sleeping for two people, with an integrated mattress and convenient access from inside the vehicle. These four-wheel drive off-road vehicles allow access to remote sites like Chugach State Park near Anchorage or the gravel roads leading to glaciers. The converted vans and trucks come with full amenities, including kitchen, water tanks, and solar panels, for extended autonomy during your explorations in places like the Matanuska Valley or the Denali wilderness region.

An authentic experience in the heart of iconic landscapes

With Alaska Adventure, embark on a journey to discover Alaska's must-see attractions in complete freedom. From Anchorage, take the Glenn Highway to admire the Matanuska Glacier, then continue to Valdez for water activities and Columbia Glacier cruises. The vehicles are also perfect for exploring the hiking trails around Flattop Mountain in Chugach State Park, offering spectacular views of Cook Inlet and, on clear days, Mount Denali. Thanks to their complete equipment and robustness, these vehicles allow you to experience an immersive adventure, between wild nature and practical comfort.

Like any business, the customer experience can have both positive and negative aspects.

3. Quality Equipment: The campervans offered are generally well-equipped, providing everything necessary for a comfortable trip, from functional kitchens to camping gear. This allows clients to enjoy a pleasant daily life while being in nature.

4. Unique Experience: Traveling in a campervan allows clients to have an immersive and authentic experience. It fosters a stronger connection with nature and creates unforgettable memories with family or friends.

Negative Aspects

1. High Cost: Renting a campervan in Alaska can represent a significant budget, especially in high season.
