When traveling from Poznań to other Polish regions, adhere to strict speed limits: 50 km/h in urban areas, 90 km/h on regular roads, and 130 km/h on highways for light vehicles. If your campervan exceeds 3.5 tons, the speeds are reduced to 70-80 km/h outside urban areas and 80 km/h on highways. Dipping your headlights is mandatory 24/7, even during the day. Alcohol checks are frequent: over 0.25 g/l, you risk a minimum fine of 5,000 PLN and a suspension of your license.
From Poznań, be aware that state-managed highways like the A2 connecting Konin and Stryków are free for vehicles under 3.5 tons. Beyond that, you must use the e-TOLL system.
