Pros :

Comfort and amenities: Portugal by Van offers a fleet of well-equipped vehicles, providing all the necessary comfort for a pleasant road trip. The campervans are generally equipped with kitchens, comfortable beds, and amenities, allowing travelers to feel at home on the road.

Customer Service: Many reviews highlight the quality of customer service provided by Portugal by Van. The team is often described as friendly, responsive, and ready to assist customers with their needs, whether during booking or while traveling.

Local knowledge: By choosing Portugal by Van, customers often benefit from good recommendations on places to visit, activities to discover, and the best campsites, enriching their overall experience.

Cons:

Additional costs: Although the rental price of a campervan may seem affordable, additional fees such as insurance, extra beds, or additional equipment (like bicycles) can quickly increase the initial budget.

Availability: During the peak tourist season, it can be difficult to find an available van, requiring advance planning. This can lead to stress for those who prefer a more spontaneous approach to their travels.

Mileage limits: Some rental packages impose mileage limits, which can restrict the distance customers can travel without incurring additional fees.

Your CoolDrive expert's opinion:

In summary, the main appeal lies in the freedom to explore Portugal at your own pace while benefiting from attentive customer service. However, factors such as the total rental cost or vehicle availability deserve consideration before making an informed choice. Future travelers should weigh these elements to ensure a smooth experience on the Portuguese roads.
